More than 6.700 visitors took part in the Mendoza Experience over the Easter period.
Over a three day period more than 6.700 people took part in the III Mendoza Experience, a Wine & Gastronomy event in the Bodegas Mendoza in l’Alfàs del Pi.
These events have, just like wine matured with age and the event is now in its third year. It is the first event of its kind in the Marina Baixa area to be included in the Alicante Wine Route, as
Enotourism increases in popularity and the Bodega will shortly be incorporated into the Spanish Wine Routes.
The three day event included 8 different workshops, each one held by an expert in their field, an express course in wine tasting and the opportunity to sample 12 different varieties produced by the winery.
L’Alfas del Pi will shortly form part of the select Wine Routes of Spain, a trademark backed by the Tourism Minister and the Spanish Association of Wine Cities.
This is a select club of tourist products composed of 20 wine routes throughout Spain. The Tourism Minister from the local L’Alfas del Pi council, Paola Segura, intends to continue to work with the county council and the provincial council to publicize and promote the excellent Eno Tourism that Alicante has to offer, combining the interior countryside with the coast, providing alternative, attractive experiences for the tourist that combines local heritage, food, leisure and recreational resources along the route.
